Rachel Cooper joined Transparency International in November 2017, after a career in the British Foreign Office and delivering global health projects with INGOs and medical royal colleges. As a British diplomat she served in London, Copenhagen, Bratislava and Freetown where she was Acting High Commissioner. She left the Foreign Office to work in international development, initially with World Vision. More recently she has specialised in global health working with the British Medical Association and was responsible for setting up global health programmes at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Nursing. She has a law degree and an MSc in Development Management.
